The Marylebone "Village" in London celebrated the wide diversity of their community in an annual gathering held in St Marylebone Parish Church on 7 November. This was the 15th year of the gathering.  Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, Jewish and various Christian denominations offered reflections on the theme "pilgrimage".  Music was provided by the Parish Church professional choir, a soloist from the Methodist tradition and the Buddhist Choir from the temple on Margaret Street W1. The address was given by the Ven Michael Ipgrave of the diocese of Southwark who heads up their interfaith work.

The principal Awareness Sunday service, representative of many that took place around the globe, was held at the Collegiate Church of St Peter, Westminster Abbey, London.

The Dean, the Very Revd John Hall, presided and again Dr Cowart and Father Nassar spoke to the full abbey. The congregation consisted of many Americans who were greeted by staff members at the end of the service. Music included Amazing Grace and the Russian Kontakion of the Dead.

10 students from St Marylebone Church processed with memorial candles, one for each year, and joined  members of the altar party, including Bishop Michael Marshall, President of the Foundation, through the vast abbey to the shrine of Innocents Victims outside the Great West Door. Bishop Marshall offered the special prayer written for this service.  Dr Cowart laid a wreath as the abbey remained in a silence of respect.
